Shillong, 5, Jan: The Brookside Adventist Higher Secondary School has announced its first ever online admission process from Pre-Nursery to Class 8 for the new calendar year.
Schools around the world have had to explore online options to teach students as schools closed at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Brookside was no exception and the school has also launched an easy to navigate website - www.bahss.com - to make it easier to apply for admission online.
The main aim and objective of the website is to familiarize everyone about the school, its rules and regulations and other procedures as well.
Vice Principal of the school, Zothanpari Chhakchhuak, said that the Covid-19 pandemic has brought drastic changes in the existing teaching and learning processes, especially by regulating physical interface and social internations in different ways.
"The classrooms have now shifted to the virtual space, at least for some time now. In the past several months, the school has been striving to quickly adapt to the new online education platform and it is happy to announce that the school is ready and confident now to conduct all its activities - admission, teaching and examination online" Chhakchuak said. "There may be many hurdles and obstacles as we are learning the new technologies and tools, but we are committed to serve our students with dedication, zeal and enthusiasm."
